Fiberglass JDM Integra Front-end Conversion?
i was jus wondering if anyone had a fiberglass JDM front end on their integra? I know OEM Honda is the way to go but it's just so expensive. Anyone experienced with the fiberglass? Opinions or info? Positive or negative experiences? Thanks.
i was selling a full JDM front end fiber glass version for $1500 everything included and i would let my customer stand on top of the fenders because i told them my set was thick. i can't get that anymore tho.

my friend had that on his 4-door Integra, the fit wasn't that bad after the body shop played with it, but the fenders began to crack over time.
i have a fb front end conversion. im very happy of the way it came out. to be honest, i would never spend the extra grand for the oem sheet metal. its just not worth it to me. the only regret is that i wanted the oem itr front bumper. fb versions dont have that option.
Trust me! I sell a whole bunch of different types of bodykits, Fiberglass is not the way to go! It is to much of a gamble, sometimes it ends up costing the customer just as much money if not more just to get the thing to fit. Do it right go metal JDM conversion.
actually fibergalss conversions have come a long way since when they were first making them. i guess it just depends on where you get it from. and i know that the price has dropped also. ive even seen people at car shows with fibergalss front ends and you would have never known that it was a fiberglass conversion. I do aggree that if you are going to go with the fiberglass convesoin go with the thick fenders as i have seen the vis ones in person and they suck. the thick ones are white and have 3 layers, 1 layer mat fiberglass, 1 layer fiberglass reinforcement and then 1 layer cloth fiberflass.. good stuff. wont dent either. so i fibergass conversion would run about..

You can find the JDM front conversion (non-HID) from 1800-2200.
PasswordJDM.com has the front conversion with HID for $2299 w/o HID for $1649.
Wow 150 more for real OEM metal, that fits PERFECTLY. P.S. the JDM metal hood is worth more than a CF hood.

this thread was dug up....
but anyway, fiberglass just plain sucks, i had a fiberglass front bumper on my last car and my cousin backed into (she came from garage, my car parked in driveway) so obviously going slow, yet my bumper was shattered into pieces!

Sometimes people end up spending as much money for the labor it takes to install the fiberglass kit anyways save yourself the hassle and just save money to get oem metal conversion
