I must say right off the bat this shifter is absolutely amazing. It's true function and form. It is extremely easy to adjust, assemble, and shift quickly yet precisely!

My current setup is:
HR weight shift ****
HR Shifter Assembly
HR Shifter Cables
MTEC Race shifter Springs

How does it compare to your k-tuned shifter?

It is much easier to use than the K-tuned for sure. I do not have to unbolt or bolt anything to change positions. It also feels a lot more precise and secure to the shift with the use of the conventional springs. Overall it definitely just out does the k-tuned. I think the k-tuned (no offence to them) is a great shifter assembly but it's shinny more than anything. The Hybrid Racing Shifter assembly is all about function and use-ability. But able to quickly and easily adjust all of your settings without taking anything apart is super nice. It feels solid as a rock and shifts like butter!

 

Nice review! Hopfully they make an Ep3 unit. I'll be getting one soon as they do.

 

The shifter’s frame is constructed from TIG welded, power coated, and 1000 series steel. The lower pivot point features chrome plated all steel constructed and the upper pivot is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and it’s much easier to use.
