Default The Monsters RT4WD Civic

Well I have had a couple of "build threads" but they never really took of because I would end up selling them. Now I am on my 15 and finally car. The one and only RT4WD Civic Wagon. After searching for a couple years I finally found one in mint condition and only 4 1/2 hours away.

She is in mint condition with one quarter size bubble of rust and like a handful of dings. Also has 147k on original motor. With this being my last car for awhile I want to start a build thread...a slow one at that...but I will be doing work to it and have some plans for it :bigok:

I hate this exhuast..it hangs so low and there is no cat. One thing on the list of many to replace.

As you can see I can move it around freely? I'm pretty sure it is called a vibration dampener or something like that.

I didn't get anything done today because :jerkit:, but I will hopefully be doing it all tomorrow, and the resonator will be in. :boink:

Got some head from my buddy for doing a swap to his car later addition to the wagon

plus I replaced his speakers with new ones, but his where still good just ghetto wiring(which I can't understand how people **** up wiring up a sterro), but I told him to let me have em...got a plan for rear speaker pods

Well I did half the work today, I got the trailing arm bushing out, and replaced with the new ones. Ran into some issues, but nothing to bad. Also my resonator came in! So the exhaust we be right after I get done with the upper differential bushings.

I always have hard-ons with this wagon (no-homo just sweating your girl)...been hunting them down for a while now.
Maybe in time with patience I will have one. Dont ever sell her because this car will be a vintage model. And you got the all-wheel drive haha nice!!!

replace it mate.. dont cheap out on suspension components: your life's involved.

ps. awesome wagon. i dont usually like wagons but this one's mint!

Went to the junk yard today and got a new dog bone. I didn't get to finish the job today though. I did get the upper dif mounts drilled out though, and I picked up a factory radio with a casette player in it so I can listen to my phone. Will defiantly finish tomorrow.

When I went to the junk yard yesterday to get a new dog bone, I asked the lady if I could bring my torch to get it out. Well she said no and here was my solution.

My next problem was the bolt broke in the strut nut , and my solution to that was to cut the damn nut off.

Then I had to wait till the AM to go to home depo to get some new hardware, but now everything is in. Didn't get picture of the upper differential mounts after I drilled them, but I drove it to the exhaust shop and damn can I tell the difference.
