I have a 94 accord and the o2 sensor under the hood is not pluged up. The o2 sensor is in the motor and the wires has been clipped off. My ? is were is the plug that goes into the o2 so i can replace it. I have looked and cant find it no were.

 

It's going to depend on exactly what kind of car you have.

 

I hav a 94 accord ex 2.2L vtech

 

Your oxygen sensor is in the downpipe. You will need to jack up the car and put it on stands then slide underneath to access it. You will see it just before the catalytic converter.

How is it that you can see it but still do not know where the plug is ?

 

So the sensor is not plugged in. The wires to it are cut off. From the harness or the sensor?

Btw an o2 sensor does not go into the engine, it goes into the exhaust.

There is on right up udoor the hood and one in the back of the car. The one undoor the hood has the wires cut on the o2 senor the senor is still in the hole and the wires are cut on it and I can't find the plug

 

If you have the lx model your only oxygen sensor would be in the exhaust manifold in the front of the car. If you have the ex model it will be in the downpipe. You only have one oxygen sensor.

The only way you would have two sensors is if your car was a '96 or '97.

 

 

Do you also have an O2 sensor in the exhaust under the engine that is plugged in? If you do, I think someone has replaced your stock exhaust with one from a 96-97 and used a junk O2 to plug the upstream O2 bung.

If you have the down stream O2 sensor wired up you do not need this one wired up as well on an OBD1 chassis.

 

Can you take a picture of the valve cover and one of the engine stamp ?
