Does the length of a ground wire important? Which components/parts recquires a specific length of ground wire? Ive searched and found nothing. Im trying to clean some ground connector, but id rather cut the wire about an inch and crimp a new terminal in.

 

Short as possible.

Remember, copper is the best for connectivity and flow. Never mix match copper, aluminum, etc.

I actually just cleaned my grounds and sanded some of the paint off. Ended up breaking a rusty bolt off in the frame /:
