ok well not too long ago i went and changed my spark plugs brand new factory spec ngks. i have a zc motor and after i switched them i did a routine check on them a couple days later and when i pulled them they were covered with what looked like motor oil. i am not blowing smoke or nothing like that so i am not burning the oil but i put them in dry and they came out wet. any ideas?

 

tube seals on your valve cover. buy a new valve cover gasket set, comes with seals, gasket, and grommets.

 

is that all i would be? and could it possibly cause any other damage that i should be concerned about?

 

its the top of the plugs that are wet (wire end)?

 

yeah from what i can tell. the threads are pretty well covered as well but i am guessing its because i have to pull them out through the oil in the wells thats causing that. the spark tips are fine and clean.

 

then yeah, gasket set.
