aem v1 1040 and k20 swap?

Default aem v1 1040 and k20 swap?

just wondering if it can be done i do believe the 1040 has 5 coil drivers so should be able to run the k20 swap with the oem senors

You would have to do a bunch of wiring and pinning but yes it could work. Jumpers within the 1040 box will also need to be changed to accept the new trigger.

The 1040 has enough ignition drivers as you said, my question would be are you still on VTC? If so, you'd need to utilize (3) Timing Inputs. I know the setup wizard has the trigger patterns pre-configured for a K20/K24, but I don't know if you can configure the input and function for each.
