CRX Clutch??
I will be converting my 90 CRX DX Auto to 5-speed and i noticed the clutch packages are listed by year. Such as 88,89,90,91. Is there a difference between those years for clutches? If so, what are they? Just wondering how all this works? Do i have to get the flywheel and clutch for the specific year transmission or? Thanks.
Thanks. Picked up a 1990 L3 out of a CRX DX today for a bill. What i learned is the 88 has no notch on the input shaft. The 89 has one notch and the 90-91s have two notches.
The '88 clutch is unique, the '89 clutch is unique, '90 - '91 use the same clutch (actually the same clutch '92 - '05 D-series uses with a different throwout bearing)
'88 clutch is small, small spline
'89 clutch is small, big spline
'90 - '91 clutch is big, big spline.
'88 clutch is small, small spline

'90 - '91 clutch is big, big spline.
