Hi guys i am in a dillema and i wanted an opinion from people with much more experience.

My build :
B16A1 Head ( Slight Port Job, Hand Lapped Valves )
GSR Block
Stock Rods/Bolts
PCT 81mm Pistons
JDM 4-1 Header (Dented)
Blox C's ( Jun 3 Knock offs )
Blox VT
3" Intake w Vstack
PR3 Intake Manifold
B16a1 stock TB (58mm)

Here comes my confusion, last month i had it tuned and layed down 220 crank hp at 8900, torque was a bloody straight line till the redline, we didnt try and see where it would drop off but my tuner told me that the engine will make more power way above 9000 judging from the Fuel/Ign maps. I dont want to rev it higher at this point with stock rods/bolts but i DO need a bigger TB/Intake Manifold. I do have a P30 Intake manifold that i was planning on porting and using with an 70mm TB. Do you guys think that i will benefit more from an ITR style intake manifold given the 8900 redline than a P30im/70mmtb combo ? Thanks a lot for your help !

 

The ITR manifold will fit your motor better than the p30 since you are 1.8L and not stock.

 

that's a generality. If the ITR style IM doesnt provide significant gains until 8900 and it just makes the engine hold power longer it won't be any use since i already dont see power dropping off anywhere. Anyone used Jun3/Blox C (0,0) and made power above 9000 ?
