Default One dirty Honda to the next!

This dirty bastard got traded in this morning at the dealer I work at; it sat in a field/barn for the last 7 years.

Smells of small furry woodland animals and turpentine!

The videos I took are loading; I'll get them on here later.

Awesome. You just posted and the pictures are already missing.

This thread has no tech value, though. I'm gonna move it to a more suitable forum. (Honda/Acura)

How many miles on it? What's wrong with it? Interior shots?
Maybe a good wash, wax, tune-up and a little stock restoration would make it hella worth something.

You bought it? Much more rigid/stiffer chassis than a civic. Get those tail lights back to stock too should look fully sick. Also has some rear lip going, adds to the bumper yet remains subtle. Perdy kewl. Headlight eyelids are hellasweet. Lowered on stock blades...not bad.

And wait...whats this? re-worked bay...but...supercharged? Holy shmokes. Header is stock doe.

If it's stock, then it's not a header.

Does that picture of the HKS sticker read "HKS SUPER DRAGER?"

Auto-stick.
I can't trade 'Dirt' because it's not worth more than a few hundred dollars and my other car is not going anywhere...

This was more of a memorial thread; I hate to see this go to a buy-here/pay-here dealer and get gutted! The used car manager wanted to just flip it quick until he saw how interested I was in it: he'll probably buy it for himself and I'll end up with the tickets to fix the damn thing.

I'm not finding out price or selling this for anyone; so the pm'ing is futile, people!

It would've been sooooo sweet so I had to take a picture! The whole thing chaps my as$, mainly because I can't do anything about it! The service writers and coworkers kept coming back to my bay while I was replacing oil and battery and saying "you should friggin' buy this... trade your Focus for it..." but I sold that car to myself when I was a salesperson (I got better... it's a bad joke) and 15k later it's almost at a good spot.

I'm the FNG at work, so the peanuts I make won't add up to get this thing. Three days of mfg training; it'll be gone when I'm back in my bay on Thursday.

I wanted to share the pics so I wasn't the only one bemoaning the situation!

olawd...best swap it to 5spd or start parting it out. The autos in these things are known to fail easily. Cant believe that autotragic had to also endure the S/C lol damn.

I wonder if engine internals are stock. Could run <8psi on stock internals reliably, for a while at least.

Unfortunately I can't afford the $5k the used car manager wants for it; and the bids start from there this week. One of the local buy-here-pay-here-car-lots will be picking this thing up by Friday! Sad panda...

This is what I wanted to trade; he laughed at me.

Yeah; I had to repair a length of deteriorated fuel line to get it ready for auction today... now I'm freaking out like every winter-itch is a damn flea or something.

Every piece of rubber, whether it was belt, hose, or anything... is deteriorating and about to break. If I wasn't the car-poor FNG, I might've had the capital to snag this before the wholesalers got at it. What a cool project this woulda been! And I always wanted this body Prelude... c'est la vie!

But the engine bay is a dusty nightmare! That thing is gonna **** the bed VERY soon, and I haven't even mustered the sand to slap a D-tag on it and flog it up the road a mile or two. I don't wanna be the tech that thing breaks on!

Fixed the leak; but the detailer pressure washed the engine bay... now it won't run anymore! HA! I told 'em to part the friggin' thing out!
