Default *95 eg Coupe project sleeper*

whats up everyone this is my 95 civic coupe. she is pretty much exactly how i want her. only need a couple more things to finish her up. set up right now is a stock b20, gsr head, b16a cams, ramhorn mainfold, cxracing gt35r turbo, hks blow off, tial wastegate, precision 1000cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, chipped p28,ls trans w/welded diff and a open 3" downpipe thats about 6" long. car is tuned on crome and set at 10 psi. once i get some sticky tires im going to up the boost a little more. my thoughts and hoes for the car were to make it the ultimate sleeper. i wanted a car that looked like a straight up POS and could run with most cars that are on the street now. the car has been a best of 12.2 at 119 on 7 psi without a tune. havent been to the track with the car since the tune. still a work in progress i have a full 3" exhaust im wanting to get ut on when i have the money. and im going to order some Mickey Thompson ET Street II when the money comes in. anyway here are some pics for everyone.

after i added some special effects

lmao i know it looks like a bag of smashed A$$. it isnt the fastest but it will go neck and neck with full bolt on 2011 5.0 m6(bout a mid 11 sec car) im not worried about looks at all. its all about motor work and how it runs.

I was of the mindset that the idea of a sleeper was to keep it as stock looking as possible to hide the performance hidden under the hood.

You've got the "hidden under the hood" part down.

i would agree this car is a stock looking car(besides the obvious damage) with suprises hidden inside. that is something this car does nicely conceals the suprises inside.

Now all you need is a rice can so that everyone will THINK you are a ricer, and when you get challenged to a race you blow their doors off. I like that stuff man.

I've thought about it but I think I want 3" piping straight out the back instead.

you shouldnt be allowed to drive this car on the damn road. youve got all kinds of loose wires dangling in the engine bay just waiting to catch fire. id focus on making it safe to drive first. who cares how fast it goes if it blows up at the finish line. you got ebay headlights, painted rotors/drums, those rims, tinted tail lights, mannnn let me motor and il show you sleeper.

LOL i thank you for your consern lol thankfully there isnt much to worry about. ie cleaned it up a little since then and there are no wires underthere to worry about. the car has been put on a diet to lots of unnecessary stuff has been removed. all the cosmetics you mentioned came with the car when i bought it and add to the misleading nature of the car.

There aren't any random wires every wire in there is connected to something, the radiator was shifted so it sits straight burp tank added. The waste gate is right by the turbo if you follow the oil line in the first pic you can see the thin blue line right there by the bumper and turbo.

Rephrase abut the BOV but it looks like you've got an open port there above the wastegate? Am I imagining it? The more I look the more I'm wondering what the hell that is?

Nevermind. It's for the dumptube. Don't know why that threw me.

And I'm not talking about the wiring. That bay looks dirty as hell.

Oh. And you said you're running on a basemap? JB weld on the BOV base?

Yes it is open, I have the flange for it but no piping to weld it up. I'm gonna try as get it done when I have my exhaust welded up. That's actually why the bay looks so dirty is because the wastegate vents into the bay.

Yes the genius who had it before me put it on that way. And yes the car is actually completely tuned on crome.

Thanks for the post and expressing your opinion. I won't clean it up. That may be what sleeper means to you. But to me a sleeper is something that looks like one thing(IE a dirty abused *****) but is is something completely different(IE a high 11 sec turbo turbo car).

Please make/buy battery tie down. That thing comes out, it'll destroy your distributor cap- I've seen it happen during cornering. Liking this wolf in sheeps clothing mindset! You should go to track and whoop some muscle car *** asap

Thanks for the input will see about that after work. I got a few more things I need to get before I can track the car(ie exhaust, turbo rebuild, slight alteration to the tune, and sticky tires) but its deff part of the plan. This is deff a street car and great interstate car meanwhile.
