b18 brian and crower build
hey first off i got a 00 ls integra stock engine skunk2 exhuast and no name short ram. i really wanna get some more power out of it and was thinking to use all brian and crower parts.i priced it out for head build it would be about 1600 with some bottom end parts too. was gonna do the crower stage 2 cams becuase i love that mean idol.i was wonderin if crower is really the way to go and if i should just go type r pistons or sunthin else. any other advice or knowledge is welcom.
I don't see HOW you're getting bottom end work + head work done with 1.6K head package's alone cost 1.2-1.4K(Springs,retainters,Cams,valves) that leaves you with 200 ? for bottom end. btw it's Brian Crower not "and". like 98vtec said research more you can't just jump into head work cover ALL basic bolt ons first. Don't wast money into a non vtec go LSV first(unless you want boost ??)
i did what you guys said and did alot of reaserch, i canned the idea of lsv. im boosting my ls, already have the turbo and ordering my eagle rods and wiseco pistons soon, plus i will be getting Brian crower forced induction stage 2 cams plus springs retainers and valves, valve guids and then tuned by local shop hopefully 300 whp is what i am shooting for.
