1997 Accord Wiring Issue

My nephew and his buddy decided to try installing aftermarket lights in the interior of the car, tapping into the cigarette lighter for power. While he was driving home, the car then started smoking from under the dash, he started loosing the dash lights and gauge functions, which forced them to eventually pull the battery wire to stop the smoldering.

After further investigation, there are a few spots under the dash where it's obvious that the wiring groups have melted. But not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

I want to help him replace the wiring groups rather than totaling the car or parting it out.

Any leads on how/where I can purchase these groups of wires? Oh, and I'm also looking for a wiring diagram.

Any help would be appreciated.
