Default 01 accord no crank

01 accord with the same problem as Needhelp520, engine cranks intermittently. A click can be heard when it wont crank. New battery, clean terminals.Could this be caused by the electronic ignition switch?

This can be caused by bad grounds. Disconnect the neg. then undo and shine up and reassemble all body and engine block connections. Check the ground on drivers side. I think it goes to motor mount to body.

Auto, check neutral safety switch and shifter adjustment. Start in neutral?

Stick, check clutch safety switch.

It sounds like a loose connection some where, either positive or negative! The ignition switch was a problem on the 98 and 99 models that I know of, Honda supposedly fixed it on 00 and newer models!
