Default need help with a mini me

Ok so my eg is burning up oil like crazy and bluish white smoke comes out of my excaust so i was told it was my head so i just bout a head i have a d15b2 block and the head i just got is d 16z6 head. Would this fit my car and what do i need to make it work
i got the head for 50. Thats why i bought it and it was also rebuilt to so yea help me please

Yes the head will work as far as fitment goes. But since I'm assuming your d15b2 motor is obd0 and does not have VTEC, you will not be able to take advantage of VTEC right away. I did this swap with my 89 crx dx about three years ago. There is plenty of information about this, it's a very common swap. Regards.

So i wont be able to use the vtec then and what are something tht i will have to change like the timming belt and other stuff or would it just fit my b2 head stuff

But if the piston rings are shot then this swap would be just stupid. Maybe you need to find out EXACTLY where the problem is. Have a leakdown test done.

Why is this thread in Engine Management and Tuning?
