Hey HT what cars come with B series? I'm getting bored of having no power all my honda friends are telling me go B series then boost it when i can. So I'm thinking getting a wrecked car or parts car pull the motor and trans harness & ECM. Get swap kit and have a little more power. So my question is what cars should I look for to get a b series and Manual trans?

Your correct I didn't search but I didn't think its a big deal I don't know much about Hondas and I didn't think it would be any problem to ask you guys cause your honda fans I just bought it for cheap fun while I'm building my mustang up

 

Nothing's free, even information. Around here, you pay by searching before creating a thread.

The more important question (and the one you should have asked), is which engines can be put in your car without serious modification. The answer to that is "whatever engine came from a chassis with the same OBD revision as yours". Get the rear T mount and axles from the same chassis as yours with a factory B. Drop it in, plug it up, slap in the ECU, and cruise.

 

Is this because your d15 lost to that auto teg in that street race you were talking about last week?

No I won that pathetic race wasn't even a race I just wanted to make sure I didn't lose $50 cause my civic is slow as **** & underpowered.

I didn't install that exhaust it came with the car it's comin off once I get my friends spare exhaust off his parts car

What's the point in being sarcastic to me I asked a honest question that I didn't know I didn't ask to be talked to like a dip **** ricer cause I'm not.

 

Let's see here...street racing, check. Loaded down on pointless name-brand parts, check. 2 step on a bolt-on motor, check. Can't search, read, and make decisions for himself, check. You might not consider yourself a ricer, but to the rest of the world, I have bad news for you.

 

I didn't buy those parts they came on the car I bought for a daily driver while I'm building my mustang, there's nothing wrong with street racing yea it's illegal but its a big thing in my area and I only raced this pos civic cause my friend wanted to and we were bored. And I didn't search cause I'm in school and couldn't search it in time so I asked you guys. I thought this was a site to ask questions and learn how to work on these cars but obviously you guys rather **** around then help me.

 

As you can tell from most of our posting histories, we have absolutely no problem answering questions. What we don't do is answer questions that could have been searched faster than the time it takes to create a thread. Quite literally less than 5 seconds on Google to type "b series site:wikipedia.org", and you'll have the full listing of EVERY B series engine, what car it came in, the full specs for said motors, year ranges, OBD revisions, original sale locations...basically, everything you need to know.

 

Next time ill search I thought it would be faster to ask you guys they google it cause I didn't think google would have the answer I was looking for.
