I have a 93 civic EX with 1.6L...
I am in need to replace my clutch and I am going to look into rebuilding my tranny as I think my syncro's are shot. I found a guy that rebuilds tranny and has a HX tranny for sale with my current one as a core..
This is how it is listed...
1996-2000 Honda Civic HX SOHC 5spd $350 exchange
Will this bolt up to my 93 EX??
I realize I am going to lose top end...but what I am looking to do is increase my MPG on the highway. I drive 45miles each way to work...and if I can increase my MPG...that will save me money..
So...will this bolt up directly??
