Whenever I switch my dash lights/corner lights on, sometimes it will wait 5-30 seconds before actually coming on. If it matters I have 2 other power sources wired in with my corner lights, but iirc it has done this since before I wired the other things to it.

 

It may be due to a bad ground, check the appropriate grounds.

You should undo or unplug the extra wiring you added so you can know for sure if its the cause or not.

What is the vehicle and year?

 

It is a 1992 civic hatch

 

If it is both the dash/cluster lights and your park/driving/corner lights, it is unlikely a grounding problem as the front and read park lights and the dash lights all use different grounds points.

Sounds more like like the combination light switch.

I would test the park light output from the CLS. 94
