Default Spun Bearing help

Hi chaps,

I've been a regular viewer of the forum for a while now but hadn't got round to joining.

I have some issues with my 05 type R civic.

I ran her low on oil in December and it made a rattle noise when cornering, I checked the oil which was below dipstick level (DOH!) and straight away topped up the oil. I never lost VTEC and the rattle instantly went away when I added new oil.

I then had a cam code on EML which I was told could be chain related so on thursday I replaced the chain, tensioner and guides and dropped put some new 5w30 fully synth dexos 2 oil in.

100 miles later after howking it the car developed a rattle under load. (Not very loud but noticable)

Sounded bottom endy to me so I pulled over to investigate. The car is silent on idle until 2k and above.

So I dropped the subframe and the sump and checked for filings, there may be some ever so slight filings in the sump.

I then took off the big end shells and 1 of them when I took it out left the bearing onto the crank. At this point I figured it was game over for the crank.

I popped this bearing off which is scored but the crank journal itself doesnt have a single mark on it.

This 2 shells from this big end have gone ever so slightly oval. SO i thought that would be a sign the journal will be oval too.

I put a good shell bearing from another big end on the dubious journal in question, the good shell rolls roun the journal perfectly, also the ovaled shell doesnt fit properly on another journal on another big end.

Do you think I could get away with new shells and bolts?

Thanks

Also does anybody know if I can get away with Daido Green shells or if I will have to colour code each and every shell?
