95 Accord Luke warm heat. Searched.

Quick run down, 1995 Accord ex. 1998 Motor.
Got it as a little DD. Had a few minor issues to fix.
Took it around the block once it was running, and noticed that the heat wasnt very hot car gets up to operating temp.
Checked the following.
Heat valve for full open and close- works.
Blend door opening full closing full- works.
Heater core flush- flushed and free flowing.
Water pump is working bc the car doesnt over heat.
New thermostat.
If you guys could throw in some ideas that would be great. its cold here.

Feel the hoses going to and from the heater core, to "in" hose should be very hot and the "hose" should be hot, but not not as hot as the in. If your car is running, and especially if it is idling properly, I would think your problem is NOT air in the cooling system, but you never know. It wouldn't hurt to top off the radiator with the heater control on hottest setting and the air bleed valve open and make sure overflow is a clear stream of coolant and no air bubbles.
What was your method for flushing the core? A core that has a lot of deposits in it needs more than the basic flush through with the dial set to hottest temp. Being flushed under pressure and with something made to loosen deposits is best.
Here's a flush method Eric The Car Guy uses. Note the "backflushing." That "product" he used to help loosen the deposits in the core can usually be found in the cleaning products section at Walmart, etc. It's made for dissolving calcium, lime, rust and stuff from metal coffee pots, humidifiers, etc.

Thanks for the vid. yeah the hoses are getting hot like they should be. I did the hole garden hose thing and not much junk really came out.
Im honestly not thinking its the heater core tho the flow was very strong thru it and when we flushed it it was backwards and nothing really came out. I have had cars whos heater cores were clogged and its different. The heat works just not very well.

Definitely no wetness or dampness on the carpet or under the carpet in the area where the heater core sits? Pulling the carpet back a little is the best way to check.
Maybe there is something wrong with the control that lets you select the desired temperature.

I thought of the control unit as well. but the cable tht opens the heater valve is going 100 percent open. I tried to look on majectic honda to see if there was a thermostat that kept track of temp but i couldnt find any thing.

You talking about the blower motor? or is there an intrigal fan some where else. It blows slower and faster when the 1234 **** is moved around.
I havent looked into the blend door set up further, but i didnt see a separate fan for that.

Is the dash temp gauge acting normally? Getting up to operating temperature and staying there?
Back to the heater hose(s) for a minute: Have you ever had them completely off of the car and flushed them out with water? Maybe the previous owners didn't keep up with flushing & filling, over the years, or ran for a time with a cruddy radiator. Those hoses might not be as free-flowing as they feel or appear, and low flow can cause the problem you're having, even if the hoses feel hot.

took it around the block the the heat showed up. wasnt getting up to temp so replaced the thermo stat. fixed that issue, but didnt fix the cool heat.
thats pretty much going to be the next step. the heat system on these cars isnt that complex so unless im over looking something it really cant be that hard to figure out.
at least the summer is coming up. Now i gotta fix the ac lol.
I would ask the former owner if bad heater core is one of the "known issues." It's the very type of thing some owners won't get fixed due to the labor cost of getting it done. Even as a DIY job, it's a PITA.
