Default ITR wheel fitment

I was wondering if any "r" owners have had any experience with wheel size 18 x 8.5 with a 52 offset and 18 x 7.5 offset 52.

Are these two big?

Thanks

So is that a "no" it would look funny or a "no" it wouldn't work?

I'm running those same width/offset's on my 20's. It'll be fine...

Most 17's on an ITR = mind blown let alone 18's.

18's on a gsr http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/2...Integra005.jpg I'm at a loss for words.

Yeah, I figured they were a bit big. I was thinking about buying a set of ce28 black time attacks, just didn't know how they would look. Thanks for the help.

That is one of the only wheels I like in a 17" fitment on an integra. At 17" I'd go for it, but not at 18".

Check out Gil's build thread. He has a set of 17" ce28's on his itr and they look phenomenal in my opinion of course.

Are you lost? Have you even tried to research this online any at all? If so, you can stop at 8.5" wide +52.

Although, I really want to hear what tire you were planning on running.

I had 17" ce28 on my R at one point, went down to a 16" ce28, and now at a 15" te37.

17s are going to rub and are just a PITA, and I had conservative offsets.

Pretty lost..that's why I asked. I did try to find pics online but really couldn't find any. If I wasn't lost, I don't think I would this question.

Tire size, I believe the 8.5 was 245/40 and 7.5 was 225/45

Thanks for all the info.

OEM ITR tire = 195/55/15, Diameter = 23.4"

Your tire = 245/40/18, Diameter = 25.7" (2.3" taller)

You really have a hard time understanding why this wouldn't work?

Also,

OEM ITR wheel = 15x6", +45
Your wheel = 18x8.5", +52

A bit of research and common sense would have told you no. Not trying to be mean, but come on.

In truth, he didn't ask if there would be any mods needed to fit the wheel/tire package. Maybe the plan was to raise the car up a couple inches and take a sawzall to the fenders?

True. Maybe OP is converting this to 5-lug?

Sorry, I don't have the common sense or knowledge like you do. I did try to look at different setups but couldn't ask the picture any questions. I thought this was a place to ask questions. I see why now the honda community is frown upon, instead of just giving good advice, we choose to act godly.

I'm sorry if my lack of knowledge/common sense and research aggravated you.

But thanks for your time in helping me understand the ideology of wheel fitment.

Not aggravating to me... funny though. Besides, this is the innertooobz... thought thick skin was issued at the time of log-in?

I suspect one of the reasons you found little/no info on putting 18's on is b/c they really are just waaaaay too big to fit the car. As others have mentioned 15's work great, 16's can work fine, and 17's are a squeeze.

I had 17x8.25 +25 and they fit, with camber. on 215/40R17.

Drivability, I didn't like it at all. Sure it looked aggressive but that's not worth it.

I have TE's and CE's in 16" and they ride much better and I think fit the body style better.
15-16" are ideal for our cars.

Us "older" folks in the Honda community just get a bit miffed that a bit of basic research/concept understanding isn't done, especially with all of the information that is available on the internet.

I think you'll find this anywhere in any community on a "tech" forum (like this is supposed to be).
