I have 89 crx si with a B20B4 swap. also the battery was relocated to the trunk. I have been driving it about every few weeks just to keep it running during winter. but when I went to go start it the other day when i turned the key to start it did nothing like the battery was completely dead. So i thought no big deal i will just jump it. I had it hooked up for a good 20 mins with nothing not a sound at all when i turned the key. I checked the battery post on both cars they where fine. plus the battery in the crx is 4 weeks old just replaced it. i am not real mechanically inclined but am trying to learn on my way, dose anyone have any idea on what may be going on? ( and no I didn't do the swap I just bought the car within the last 4 months. I have personally not done anything to it yet. )

 

check to see if the main battery big fuse is blown. just got a hatch that had the same symptoms of ur car and then replaced that and it was good after.

check all ur fuses since u'll be there

Im having a similar problem right now as well.did a d15b2 swap into a a 89crx si yea i knw y a d15b2 well because thats the engine he had.anyways put it on hooked everything up and i get nothing when i turn the key.the headlights do turn on tho and it makes that noise when the key is in the ignition and the door is open.but thats it.

 

could be the switch behind your key tumbler it happened to my accord
