Default jdm b16a swap startup questions...

Just did a b16a swap in a 98 DX HB..... When we start it up, the rpms jump to 5K right away and stay there. We replaced the IACV and still nothing. We are thinking that it may be a vacuum leak, but unsure as to where it may be. There is a hose on top of the Throttle body that has no home. We have tried to start the motor with it capped and uncaped and nothing... Any help is appreciatedc

motor is jdm 96-98 b16a.... EK4 swap
car is 1998 DX HB.

-Look inside your throttle body and see if there are two ports (about 1/4" in dia.)
-If there are, the top one goes to the IACV and the bottom one goes to the Fast Idle Thermo Valve. See if the bottom one is sucking air.
-If it is, put your finger over it while the car is running an see if the idle drops.
--If it does, then your that valve inside the Fast Idle unit is stuck open.
--If not, then move on to the next suspect.

Try that. Let me know.

took off the hot idle valve and tried to close it. it seems that its still sucking air all the time.. havent ran it longer than 10 mins, but at temp its still sucking air.... not sure what to do.
