Default best chassis/engine combination ... without swapping

this might be a bit of a read, but id love some serious feedback!

backstory: used to have an 01 accord with a f23, LOVED it – but it was an auto, so i bought a 5sp volvo s60 instead... now I'm thinking about selling the volvo for another accord lol (manual this time) and what i want to know from your opinions what body style or model year comes with the best engine (i don't want to be mucking around with swapping **** and wiring and mounts, f ck that noise) only talking about accords here (obviously) not too worried of age tho, just gotta have 4 doors! ... I loved the f23 in my '01 it was especially torquey and made that wonderful mechanized scream you only seem to get from single cams, definitely seemed like more than the 130hp it had! my plans are for pretty serious street/track car with more of an emphasis on quality/reliabilty, overall balance and chassis tuning than outright power... like i said I've been mulling over this for a while now and I've done a bit of research but i can't decide what chassis to start with. leaning a bit towards another f23 6th gen but id love to hear what you all have to say.

sorry for the read! I've just been milling over this for a long time and figured it was time for an outside opinion or two. thanks guys!

Stay away from the 4th gens, they're heavy and most people like heat and a radio. They are equipped with the F22A6 (EX model) which is a non-VTEC motor making 140hp. The 5th gens have a slightly smaller engine (F22B1) than the 6th gens (although they make 5hp more than the 4th gen) and are slightly lighter. The 6th gens at 2.3l (F23A1) make 150hp and the chassis is more modern looking. 6th gen being 3412lbs, and the 5th gen being 2855lbs. My favorite is the 5th gen, although the motors between the 5th and 6th are basically identical as far as transmission, head, and general block design. They are lighter, but the motor is a mere 5hp less powerful which is a good combination as we are speaking early 90s to mid 2000's Accords.

Its your preference, to each his own.

I had a 98 V6 accord 4 door that i loved. i would opt for a 6 speed legend if you can find one. I had a 94 legend auto 4 door in high school that did 100 mph all day on the freeway without noticing any shakes. Now I have a AWD ____ Guess! and it's true 6 speed

Is it a Subaru legacy? Looks damn close to the dashes they have!

I nicknamed my TL-AWD garage queen since it rarely sees the road. only 7000 miles after buying the car 2 years ago. I also added the under body spoiler (Lip Kit) from Acura. I love the fitment.
