So with the heat on its way the misses would like to know if its possible to install a/c into our hatch.
I need to find out what to use so everything works if even possible. Like would the EF a/c bracket bolt onto the EK block or EF compressor bolt onto the EK a/c bracket?
I tried looking for an aftermarket bracket but all I could find were B series conversions

You would have to use evertyhing for an EF up to the compressor. I don't think the compressor bracket for an EF will fit on your motor. I dont see why a EK compressor and bracket would not fit. Unless the threads to attach the ac hose is different.

Anyways here is what you need assuming there are no ac parts already on your car.
Ac loom, evaporator, all lines, ac fan, condensor, drier and compressor w/bracket.

 

Hmm so d15b2 bracket will not fit on d16y7 so does anybody know if d15b2 compressor bolt to the d16y7 bracket?

 

I installed my bracket for a6 into my y7.they bolt right up.i would assume its the same as b2...

I can pick up a b2 bracket if thats a no go then a6 it is
