Default 96 Honda Civic. HELP!

Hey guys, new to the forum. Figured I can get some informative help on here. I have on 96 Honda Civic LX and my issue with it is when the car heats up it doesn't like to start. For example, I made a Chipotle run the other night. After I got my food I got in the crank and it wouldn't start up. It still cranks but it refuses to start up. Waited 25-30 mins in the car then it started up with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks for reading

make sure the car is not over heating and make sure you have coolant in the car and also make sure the fans are turning on

It could be a number of things.

OP, when your car doesn't start, listen for the fuel pump. The main relay is a common point of failure in our cars, and not starting while hot is a common symptom of main relay failure. If you can't hear the fuel pump prime when your car is hot, test your main relay. I believe there is a how-to in the FAQ's sticky.

Hey guys, really appreciate the help. The coil was recently changed. I just got my car scanned and the troubleshooting code was P0118. I believe its an electrical problem? Any ideas?
