I got a center console for a few bucks off of ebay, but the tabs where the arm rest hooks to the part of the console that contains the shifter are broken.

Does it really matter since the two pieces go together and are screwed into the car?

The car is not in my possession as it's getting a D15 Vtec swap put in it and I also don't have the console yet. So I can't check it out at the moment. Just wanted to get some opinions or some tips if anyone wants to add a line or two to this post.

Please don't blast me and say go search, because I did a little bit, but it's a pain on this junk iphone!

 

It doesn't matter, it should sit flush regardless since the arm rest piece slides in under the center console
