Car didn't come with an overflow tank when I bought it so I improvised.

ha ya I have to admit i want to build a rat rod, and ive seen this done on old school cars so i decided what the hell. took forever to find a mounting spot for it that would not interfere with anything

 

Something just doesn't sit right with me if it is glass....

Not a bad job though.

 

it doesnt move at all, and ive ran it all summer and then drove a few times this winter so apparently its solid. it sits on a hood hinge that i bolted to the frame and then is tightened down with 2 big hose clamps

 

howd you mount it?

 

there was a random 10 mm bolt hole in the frame so i mounted the hood hinge to that and ran 1 of the hose clamps between the hinge and the frame and then the top hose clamp is around the mount for the clutch line
