Okay, long story short to get to the point, bought a car a few years ago and its been my project. Was pretty much completley riced out luckily no body kit though, but the body is very solid. But the moldings were half *** shaved and so forth, and its now time to get some paint on the car, after this winter the car should look completley new and A LOT better. I got the moldings back, dug all the bondo out of them :/ lol.

Some one had shaved where the antenna goes, i was planning on using a block off plate, just because i personally dont like the shaved work, and it was poor body work that would have needed corrected anyhow. Well once i uncovered the hole and began looking at it, it seems that somthing is missing, i can tell what holes the screws are supposed to go through, but i see nothing for them to thread into? Is there a plate that goes back there, The thing that confuses me is, i see no way to get anything in or out of there that you would be able to run the screws into(plate with holes and threads , nuts ETC..)

So exactly what is supposed to be here, and how should i correct it? Thanks in advance guys

 

No plate, the nuts are just integrated into the A pillar sheet metal.

 

Well ****, looks like they decided to remove them :/ What to do now lol

 

Get an internal antenna. I have that in my Civic now.

 

Basically. re-flush it, then run a custom antenna around your windshield.

 

can you slip a couple of speed nuts in there and attach the plate?

 

IDK, i was thinknig about trying to attempt that lol
