Ive been looking through the faq and I can't find anything that shows a DIY thread on how to install a quick release on my 01 civic. Does anyone know a link on how to install a quick release. Thank you for all yall help

 

Try looking at the DC5 forum same as our civics.... but I'm pretty sure there is a link in the FAQ thread

 

Look at this DIY from the FAQ's:

Installing your quick release and hub should be fairly standard.

 

How would I be able to turn off the srs light because wouldn't it stay on when I take off the air bag

 

You would need to wire in a resistor or something to fool the SRS system.

 

The trick is to get the right resistance. For god's sake, don't try ohm-ing out the airbag.

 

It'll be a very painful experience.
