Default Diagnostic Trouble Codes Different from P Codes?

My son has a 2001 EX that (per an auto parts house) is throwing three "DT" codes; 1298, 1691, and 1692. The parts house tech advised that he would have to do to a dealer to determine what is wrong with the car. Does this sound correct? Are DT codes different from the P codes from an OBD II scanner? If so, does anyone have an idea what these codes may point to? I searched for these DT codes but didn't get ant matches (just P1298).

Background: My son was driving the other day when, shortly after engaging cruise control (which may likely be an unrelated event), the car lost virtually all power and could just maintain low RPMs. The MIL came on when this occurred. Parts house tech suggested fuel pump or fuel filter.

[Edit] Car is a two door EX with manual tranny.

"DTC" codes are labeled as "P" codes on OBD2 platforms (for the most part). So the three codes you have are:
P1298 Electric Load Detector (ELD) Circuit High Voltage
P1691 Fuel Injection Pump Controller Calibration Error
P1692 Turbo Control Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

Those last two are not common (1692 doesn't even apply) for the chassis. I would suspect that there is some underlying issue with the ECU or wiring of the car.
