Rear sway bar endlink mount points?
I'm wondering the difference between the mounting points of the rear sway bar.
The factory sway bar on my car has a specific spot on the LCA where the end link mounts.
My aftermarket ST sway bar has a bracket that mounts where the shock and LCA meet.
Is there a major difference between these two mointing points? I ask beacuse my LCA's have 3 different spots for the OEM sway bar to mount. The ST bar can only be mounted from the shock tower.

Before I go looking for pictures of this my question is; if the ST bar mounts to the shock tower what does it matter how many mounting points there are on the LCAs?
For example on this 5th gen.

I'm told having the sway bar mount from the shock tower causes excessive wear on the shock tower bushings.
As I currently have access to several different swaybar options I figured I'd ask.

Stop entertaining irrational hypotheses. How do they figure "excessive wear on the shock tower bushings" when they aren't connected to any bushings and everything retains all it's original function? Do they mean more wear than the shock itself is transmitting to the bushings? Don't see how that's possible. The bar kinda makes it move less (overgeneralized description).
One of the mods, as well as many others, has this bar installed and I have NEVER heard such nonsense.

It doesn't matter. "Resistance" is going to be felt regardless of where the bar mounts to. If you have the bar connected to the LCA vs the shock tower. Think about it, when you corner the force is being met by the torsional rigidity of the bar. Why would it matter where it mounts?
