I got a 99 civic sedan this week and it had the factory radio in it. It asked for a code and i eventually got it to turn on. long and behold no sound. so after checking all the wiring for shorts and good connections i gave up. then it hit me. what if the speakes where bad. so i had 1 6.5" laying in my room that i checked both rear chanels with and behold sound. so the 6x9s are shot. the cones are falling apart. the fronts another story. hooked the speaker from my room into both sides in the front. i got nothing. I checked the balance a dont get a short when i put mu ohm meter on it. any ideas?
