On the front lower control arm I'm trying to install energy suspension bushings and my question is DO I HAVE TO REMOVE the old outer bushing casing OR just press out the rubber and the sleeves? The instructions that came with it are too general and don't specify if they need taken out.

Been searching for a DIY specifically using ES bushings in front but have no luck

 

I have ES bushings in my car. You have to remove the metal ring.

 

How many miles on your es bushings? Any sweaking?

 

Maybe 8-10k, or somewhere in that area. No squeaking at all.
