Hey guys, haven't posted in a while. I'm getting ready to h2b swap my 1g crv, and my buddy tells me he has a 10lb flywheel with new friction disc. I wanted to stick to a stock flywheel, but now it's got me wondering.
Who has ran a lightweight flywheel on the rt4wds? We're there any negative effects? How was overall drivability, acceleration, shifts, etc. I've done a bit of research already, but found nothing on our rt4wd systems. Thanks in advance guys.

Does it seem to put its power down right? In the past I had a lightweight flywheel on a gsr and it almost seemed like it had to "re build" its momentum after shifting. Does that make sense?
You aren't shifting quick enough. The lighter flywheel will drop Rpms faster than the factory flywheel due to less rotating mass. The heavier flywheel will keep the engine spinning higher between shifts. But the lightweight flywheel will get you to high Rpms quicker.
