stuck rotor screw
The screw holding the rotor on the distributor shaft will not come off.
As I bought this in January so I have no idea how long it's been on there. I'm using a craftsman allen wrench and it's twisting.
I soaked it in PB blaster but no joy. But I'm not sure it can really get through from the screw head side.
I was curious if the shaft is hollow or solid. If hollow, I was thinking about drilling a hole in the rotor center to get some PB on it from the other side.

For the next one... after you break the rotor off make sure you pick up an impact driver and a small dead blow hammer.
They work miracles for small and large stubborn screws

My problem was I didnt have a stuck screw. Instead, I had the metal piece tightly locked on the distrib shaft. I had to use a dremel to cut slots in it and use a screwdriver to pry apart the metal pieces slowly.

Common problem. Dremeled a slot in the plastic rotor. Split it off with a screwdriver. Channel locks on the head of the screw. Lots of PB blaster.
Lots of cursing the former owner for not using anti seize on the threads.
I think it was an original 11 year old rotor.
Probably the reason I got the car cheap.

been using one of these for many years on that very screw you are having trouble with.
1 wack with a hammer and its free... no stress every time.
