Default Need help?? Flood water..

The other day I drove my 98 honda civic in through a flooded side street. I didn't think it was deep so I decided to just drive through it anyways, Come to find out when it was to late the water was up to the bottom of my bumper. The car slowed down a bit as soon as i hit the water. considering I was driving at a speed of 10-15 mph. As soon as I went through the flooded street the car started to puddle and shake every time I rev and try to accelerate. What problems can that be??

Have some patience....not alot of people here in the early morning to run to your beckon call.

Do you have a cold air intake that sits down in the bumper. If so I'd be worried you sucked up a tiny bit of water. If it was alot the motor would be hydrolocked and wouldnt necessarilly run.

Check sensors, grounds, dizzy for moisture. Dont know what barely drove thru the water means, or how much was actually on the road and how fast you went thru it. But theres a place to start.

Your also not very clear on what happened. I also couldn't understand some of what you typed because your grammar is terrible.

As posted before you won't always get a response right away, sometimes not even within a few hours.

Your probably running into either a bad ground from water exposure, or a bad sensor due to submersion. Check/clean all of your ground wires and same with any sensors that were exposed to water.

That part gave me a good laugh. Little to no detail well do you have a CAI ? could just be a placebo effect from going threw a deep puddle and you car is actualy fine.

You can't be serious...

Time for you to read the comments and act on them.

I bet money you havent even done a damn thing about resolving the issue with the car yet.

With your **** poor attitude...seems like your just here to troll. If thats the case, log out and never come back.

Thanks you.
