wondering if someone here can help me with the code I need for the radion on my newly acquired 04 CR-V with 236K miles (runs great)
Radio serial # is 23114518 ,

read it through the radio display.

Normally the serial for the radio is in the glovie.


I'd try to call the local dealer and ask them. If you have he serial the hard part is done. I think they just have to plug that and the vin into a computer to get the info.

When you get the code sharpie it into the glove compartment for the next time or next guy!

Since you have the serial number, you can take the number and VIN to the honda dealer and they can look-up the code.

The code is on a sticker on the back of the radio/CD player. If all else fails you can try removing the radio. I had to do this for a friend. It is not all that bad.

In addition, as pointed out in other posts, it should be printed on a sticker in the glove box. My 2004 CRV also had a sticker that was placed in the owner's manual.
