Need to have the windshield replaced on my 93 Del Sol. Had what looks like a baseball dent in it when I bought.

The passengers side moulding was missing the rubber part and since the upper moulding gets replaced I ordered both sides new. They come with clips but the drawing shows 8 other clips numbers 8 and 9 in the picture. According to the FSM they are imbedded in the sealant during installation.

I have read some posts mentioning that these were ususlly included as part of the install kit. I tried to get an answer from Safelite but the custoemr service rep had no idea.

So if anyone has had safelite do one, Did the moulding kit they use include these as well as the top molding?

 

look in your phonebook or online and find a local glass guy. Better yet, stop into a good bodyshop and ask who they use. They'll be about the same price for the right person, and they can answer your question.
