Default climate control problems, 98 Civic.

I have a 98 Civic DX Sedan. My climate control fan speed selector only works on 3 and 4. The light is also out on that side, I think that the whole unit may be bad...any ideas? Help/Info is much appreciated.

Sounds like a bad blower resistor.

Remove the resistor pack. Most of the time, you can see visually if its good or not.
