Default catch can location?

my friend told me it goes in the line of the crankcase breather thing(hose to from crankcase to can/hose from can to intake), I looks on some boards, and they say it goes in the pcv line(hose from pcv to can/hose from can to manifold) which is right? anyways, both the pcv and crankcase breather line let oil into the manifold, so can I make a catch can for both? like connect the pcv and crankcase breather to the can, and then one like to the manifold? would that work?

The one to the intake, just leave it attached to the intake nipple since you get a slight positive pressure going though the crankcase manifold. You'd want the catch can on the PCV valve side. Use a 3/8" or a 1/2" brass elbow here, attach it to some stiff line (fuel line supposedly isn't strong enough, but I use it.) and route it to your catch can. Then from the can to the intake plenum.
