I have a honda crx 91, d15b2 engine, dualpoint injection, manual transmission. I was wondering where the location of the MAP sensor is at. Could a vaccum leak on the MAP sensor not allow my car to go as fast as it should? It seems to speed up at 3000RPM in every gear.

any advice or ideas would be much appreciated

So i heard a bad MAP sensor could slow a vehicle down. is that true? what are the symptoms of a bad MAP

Alot of bogging, poor performance, run a whole lot of rich, etc.
Basically the Map sensor is important

 

In other words car runs horrible

 

Is your check light on? Map usually throws a code.

 

It'll throw a code 1 (02 sensor) if it's not receiving vacuum (broken vac line).
