98 Civic ex with b18b1 no spark need help!!!
about 3 weeks ago i bought a 98 civic ex with a b18b1 everything was great until about a week and half ago i was driving and it started to jerk a bit then it was fine then it did it again and it stalled out it would take it about 5 to 10 mins before it would start back up did that about 4 times that day. then after it ran fine till about 2 days ago it stalled out again while driving it stared up again about 10 mins later once i got it home it stalled out again and hasn't started since and im getting no spark, ive replaced the fuel pump, ICM, Coil, distributor cap and rotor, im stuck at this point please help.
whats driving me crazy is that after i replaced the fuel pump it stared right up then shut off like 20 seconds later then 10 minutes later it started again and it ran for a about 10 to 15 mins and i drove it around it was fine then it started to do the jerking then it stalled out again and it hasn't start since

If there are no CEL codes, then test the coil and igniter unit.
Also check whether the timing belt snapped or stripped.
im going to go ahead to do that tomm but assuming its not throwing any codes what else could it be i can hear the main relay working and the fuel pump priming and i checked all my grounds everything is good
You can temporarily borrow a bulb and holder from one of the other cluster warning lights and insert it into the CEL socket. Once that's done, click the Codes link in my signature.
Thanks for the correction Ronj, change the bulb and see what happens. My guess is it'll be a distributor code as Ron suggested but don't guess, troubleshoot!
hey guys didn't get a chance to do anything yesterday but i went out and put in a working CEL and i jumped the service plug it only threw one code and it just kept repeating it, it was code 15, whats my nest step?
If code 15 repeats, check whether the coil and ICM inside the distributor get battery voltage. Also check whether all coil and ICM wires are connected/plugged in.
Did you install a new coil and ICM?
If all above are fine, then check the Yel/Grn wire that runs from the ICM to the ECU for a short or open.

i did replace the icm and coil as far as them getting battery voltage i dont know i went ahead and put my test light up to the wire that runs to the coil and got nothing but i was getting power to the plug
New ones?
The Blk/Yel wire attached to the coil? Key in ON(II)? If so, that's the problem.
