i know the cdm itr seats only made 250 of the red seats total.. does anyone kno how many of those yellow itr recaros were made? whats hard to get or more rare? and is there something more rare then the red canadians or yellow recaros?

 

blue dc5 type R seats are pretty rare also.

Really don't care for them. I think ppl like them just cuz they are super hard to find. Much rather have black. Black doesn't show dirt as much.

 

i read somewhere on another thread there were only like 300 or so of the yellow recaros. What i'd like to know is if there is info on what seats/colors came on what market/models etc.

^^ For JDM anyways, I think red or black could be had with 96 and 98 DC2, any exterior colour. DB8 only had black seats. Yellow in the Rx or maybe optional in 2000? Here is a link:

What's even more rare is the white Recaros for the DC2. They were a limited edition item in Japan for the 98 Spec. I heard they made something like 10 sets.

 

I've never seen these before/can't find any pics. Post any if you have them.

 

My boy Hector had a set in early 2000's. Idk what he did with them though.

 

I can't imagine how quickly those would have gotten dirty though

People often think that the yellow ITRx were the only models that came with yellow Recaro buckets. This is incorrect. Yellow Recaros became available as a factory option for 98 spec ITR. As for your question, there are no records of how many yellow Recaros were made, at least not available to the public.

 

No such thing as OEM White Recaros.

isn't it possible any of us could go to an upholsterer and they would wrap the recaros in whatever fabric/pattern we want? so that could be a possibility. dno't think i've seen any cars that come factory with white seats from the factory.

 

^^Correct. Maybe someone sharted themselves and ruined their seats and decided to reupholster a different color. All I know is that over the past 10+ years I have never seen a set and if they existed I would have seen them by now.
