Front Cross Member for the CRX?
I'm not all too sure, but i heard there might be a a year of the CRX that does not have a front cross member?
I am planning on buying a CRX, putting in a B16a Engine and then a turbo. The front cross member will be getting in the way too much for comfort, so i thought i would ask about the rumor i hear.

I don't believe this is true, all of them have front engine mounts, and thus a front crossmember. I think that the front crossmember adds to the structural integrity of the vehicle, so take it out at your own peril. I know that there are a few places that make aftermarket front crossmembers, so you may want to look into that.
ive seen in 89s, 90s and 91s x members and my 88 sure does have a x member, jimfab puts out a x member that is like one piece of 1" thick steel it has adjustable radius rods so you can get better traction (a must for turbo setups) and clearance they are pricey but well worth it
