Hey HT i was curious if you all thought i got a good buy i picked up a d16y8 with 150xxx miles a 5 speed tranny with linkages clutch flywheel pressure plate and a shifter along with the p2p 5 speed ecu for 300$ nice price or crack price?

Use the Value thread at the top of this forum. Did you do a compression test? Make sure it ran and had no leaks or problems? If it is running good, before you swap the motor in, borrow an engine mount(To hold it up in the air) and clean it up and work on it a bit. Hot tank, hone, bore, ect ect ect.

 

Pretty good deal really. D series motors are everywhere so they normally are rather cheap. Good job
