Icon2 '93 that won't start

My accord was recently stolen and recovered. I have been pulling the battery every night to deter someone from stealing it again. I went on vacation this weekend with a friend and pulled the battery and also decided to pull fuse to battery as well. Well.. put everything back in and tried to start the car today and it will not start. Most I get is a 'click' and the a/c light to flash on for 1/2 a second then nothing. No dash lights and it won't crank. Checked the fuse and it's not blown. Did I do something wrong?

Did you l leave the battery on a grounded surface? Such as diet or asphalt or concrete or steel? When you "store" a battery your supposed to keep it on something that's not grounded like a thick piece of wood or rubber. Treason is the battery discharges when set on a grounded surface.

Sometimes, not always, a discharge like that will cause cells in the battery to go bad. Have the battery charged and then tested for bad cells.

When I went back out to start the car just to defeat myself I guess lol it actually started up no problem. Is it safe to regularly remove just the fuse for the battery without taking the battery out or disconnecting it?

You could probably solder in a switch between the fuse and battery. Tuck it up somewhere you can reach but others won't find. I don't think taking the fuse in and out will do much damage other than to the connectors, but that would be over a long period of time.
