I have a question about the stubby antennas on ebay. I have a 91 wagon and recently replaced the antenna with a OEM type replacement. Long story short the antenna didn't work and I ended up cutting off the zip line so I could fit it in. It doesn't roll up but get's good reception, however I have to use tape to hold it up... I don't wanna get another OEM type one only to have it not work again.

I would like to replace it with this one but need to know if it gets good reception. One like this, its a 3". They have a 5" but I wanna know what this is like.

 

Need to know something about this antenna...please let me know if you have any experience or wisdom with them.

 

I don't even have an antenna lol. Only Accord I've seen without one of the rear drivers side quarter. Shorter antenna obviously means less usable signal range, might work. lol
