Default Horrible scraping/grinding sound from wheel

Hey everyone! Just a couple days ago, while driving down the highway at about 45ish, all of a sudden there was a horrendous metal scraping sound coming from the front passenger-side wheel. I could no longer change into fourth gear, and when it would be around the right time to change into fourth, the engine would rev up and hardly give power.

The scraping does not occur in neutral or in reverse, but any slight acceleration in drive causes the scraping. When chaging gears, the grinding decreases only slightly, but is still very loud.

Could it be the wheel bearing? But idk how it would relate to the engine reving up.
