tire size with fat fives
i have a 94 coupe ex with fat fives, got my exhaust installed and the guy pointed out that my tires are cracked so im looking to buy new ones, anyone know what size i need to fit my car. it is lowered but im unsure how low(purchased like that)also the tires that were on it are from OE so i cant get the extact tire anymore

Stop, you obviously know nothing about how tire sizes work.
195/50R15 is the correct fitment. 205/45R15 would be +0. 205/50R15 would throw off the speedometer, cause the car to sit higher, as well as throw off a small list of other things that shouldn't be toyed with unless you know what you're doing.

fat fives are a 15x6.5 rim that take a 195/50-15 putting on a wider tire is a great idea but you'll need to go with a wider rim otherwise it will effect your handling, stability, and some cases drivability. im also not taking account on what tire brand youll be getting

Just listen to the people who have been on this site for the longest and KNOW what there talking about. 195 50 15 is perfect. That's what is on my car and it looks and works fine. My car isn't lowered but if you are low and you are rubbing to the point you need to flare a **** TON then you are to low. Have a comfortable ride not a "Cool looking" ride.

If you go 205, your speedo will read slower by 3mphish= speeding ticket when a**hole cop is sitting there w/radar gun. You'll be going 3 faster than you think @ about 40. The faster you go the less accurate speedo will be. I'm running 195/50 on my stock gsr "fat fives"

Sorry, thread from the dead.
I have a 2005 Civic coupe DX with 17” rims the previous owner put on. When I got the car the tires were low profile and bald as Mr. Clean... I replaced the tires with Falken Azenis 205/50ZR17 93W M+S tires. Great tires but occasionally they will rub a little in the back if I hit a bump wrong. Feels like the inner side and it’s doing this on stock suspension. Either way, I bought some fat fives so I can have something that fits right when I lower the car. I’m going to put it on coilovers (Tein street advance) and go as low as the coilovers allow. I wanted to get some tire and size recommendations, should I go 195 or 205? I intend on ordering my own tires this time. Thanks guys
